Two young researchers from ELTE group represented the ENeRAG project on the 26th Groundwater Conference on 26-27 March, in Siófok near Lake Balaton.
On the first day, Zsóka Szabó (PhD student) had two presentations, one about the knowledge dissemination activity of József and Erzsébet Tóth Endowed Hydrogeology Chair and an other regarding the aims of ENeRAG project related to Managed Aquifer Recharge. In the second presentation Managed Aquifer Recharge and its advantages; the recently written Hungarian MAR booklet; preliminary information about the Hungarian MAR database, as well as the recent application and future prospects of MAR in Hungary were introduced. On the second day, a case study was presented by Petra Baják (MSc student) related to the natural radioactivity of groundwater in hydrogeologic approach. Several representatives of industrial partners (OVF, Waterworks, MBFSZ) were present in the conference, so the topics and future cooperation could be discussed personally.
