With the support of the ENeRAG project, Anikó Lovász (PhD student of the Department of Mineralogy) could participate in the European Current Research on Fluid and Melt Inclusions (https://ecrofi2019.elte.hu/), 23-27 June, in Budapest, Hungary. The conference was organised by the Lithosphere Research Group of the ELTE. Five sessions represented different research fields and Anikó presented her results in the Ore fluid inclusions session. She showed her results about Fluid inclusion, stable and noble gas isotope study of hydrothermal Cu-mineralisations in the Mirdita Zone, Albania: implications for their genesis.

The researchers and PhD students arrived from all over Europe, and from Canada, USA and China as well. Gabriella B. Kiss, researcher at ELTE and ENeRAG project contributor was also among the participants in the conference.

The conference started with a short course, held by prof. Robert Bodnar from the Virginia Tech, USA, where attendees could get the basics about the fluid inclusion studies. The conference ended with a field trip to the Buda Thermal Karst, lead among others also by Anita Erőss (ENeRAG project participant).
