The Horizon 2020 call “Building a low-carbon, climate resilient future: Research and innovation in support of the European Green Deal” was announced to respond to the pressing need to confront the climate crisis and provide greater protection for the continent’s unique environment and biodiversity in 11 areas. The UnILiON Universities Informal Liaison Offices Network organised online brokerage events to promote and assist collaboration among the partner universities to form project consortia. As ELTE is part of this network, Judit Mádl-Szőnyi, Zsóka Szabó and Ádám Tóth compiled a short introduction material regarding the future plans after ENeRAG project has been completed. Ádám Tóth presented our group activities and project ideas at two brokerage events: one in “Restoring Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services” and one in “Climate-resilient Innovation Packages for EU regions”, which were attended by around 10-10 participants from Spain, UK, Italy, Cyprus, Finland, and Germany.
