The NGWM is a biannual event which gathers people from all disciplines in the field of geosciences mostly from Nordic countries. The event this year was held 8–10 January 2020 in Oslo, Norway and was attended by Ádám Tóth (ELTE), Nina Leppäharju, Sami Vallin, Teppo Arola and Ferenc Molnár (GTK).

The ENeRAG team hosted a sub-session entitled “Geothermal energy” within the Hydrogeology session, which was chaired by Randi K. Ramstadt (Norwegian University of Science and Technology) and Teppo Arola (GTK). The session had 10 high quality oral presentations which initiated scientific discussion among the around 60 attendees. The International Symposium on Geofluids (8–10 July 2020, Budapest, Hungary) was also promoted during the meeting.

The Meeting was a great occasion for the Consortium partners to exchange knowledge related to scientific questions, and to discuss project related issues. The ENeRAG, geothermal energy-related, publication plan and the details of the upcoming student exchange and workshop were discussed during the conference.
