The Hungarian National Chapter of International Association of Hydrogeologists organised its annual meeting entitled “The Past, Present and Future of MAR in Hungary” on 12 November, 2019 in Budapest. The ENeRAG project was represented by Judit Mádl-Szőnyi (associate professor, scientific leader of ENeRAG), Ádám Tóth (assistant professor, secretary of IAH-HNC) and Zsóka Szabó (PhD student). Judit Mádl-Szőnyi presented the ENeRAG project, its results and further plans regarding Managed Aquifer Recharge. Zsóka Szabó reported on the ISMAR10 conference, where her attendance was supported by ENeRAG and JET-HC. She talked about the organised sections, short courses, field trips and the most important news. 

In addition, presentations were kept on the DEEPWATER-CE project, the 46th IAH Conference, the modeling results of the Érd-Dunaparti water reserve and the rainwater infiltration equipment of Pipelife Hungária Kft.

The International Symposium on Geofluids organized by theJózsef and Erzsébet Tóth Endowed Hydrogeology Chair and Foundation and by the Regional Groundwater Flow Commission of the International Association of Hydrogeologists, in scientific collaboration with the ENeRAG H2020 project was promoted among the participants. The meeting was an excellent occasion for promoting national collaboration regarding Managed Aquifer Recharge. Furthermore two industrial partners of ENeRAG project (MBFSZ, General Directorate of Water Management (OVF)) were also present on the meeting, that provided a great opportunity to discuss issues relevant to the project.
