ENeRAG project participated in the Widening Day event organized by the DG RTD – Unit G1 ‘Era & Country intelligence’- together with the Research Executive Agency (REA) in Brussels on 13 November. 

The event provided opportunity for recent project participants to meet the coordinators or other project’s representatives of ongoing projects in order to exchange views among themselves and also with the European Commission.

The meeting was opened by Mr Jean-Eric Paquet, Director General DG RTD. In the morning session, a discussion was carried out between the host and the participants, that focused on policy objectives, policy achievements, possible difficulties pursuing the goals of projects, good practices to raise visibility of the project and to increase networking opportunities and future outlooks.

In the afternoon, there was an interactive session for brainstorming linked to the broad topic lines of different projects with RTD thematic directorates representatives. The participants could gain detailed information on clusters and missions under pillar 2 of Horizon Europe.

The ENeRAG project was represented by Ildikó Erhardt, project manager, who had the chance to network and to meet the Project Officer of ENeRAG in person and discuss about project related issues. Furthermore, possible cooperation was established with GeoTwinn project, as the two projects’ representatives could exchange knowledge on their experiences on Twinnig projects.
