ENeRAG project co-sponsored a session, ’Geofluids as natural resources or sources of contamination: Research and Innovation’ with RGFC-IAH (Regional Groundwater Flow Commission of International Association of Hydrogeologists) at this year’s EGU (European Geosciences Union) General Assembly, held 7-12 April in Vienna, Austria. The session’s convenors were Daniele Pedretti, Alex Russell, Ádám Tóth, Frank McDermott and Marie-Amélie Petré. The session aimed to foster scientific discussion between those with interest in a range of geofluid systems to better understand the role which these fluids have as socio-environmental and economic resources. The session was successful with 7 oral and 22 poster presentations before a wide audience. They have also got information about the project’s upcoming events.

After the session, ENeRAG project and RGFC-IAH had a joint meeting where the participants discussed future collaborations, like a Special Issue on Geofluids.
